Obituary for Billy Wayne Rossiter

Billy Wayne Rossiter of Agra, Oklahoma passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at the age of 59.
Billy was born in McKinleyville, California on February 15, 1960 to Evert and Syble (Toles) Rossiter. He was the youngest of eight boys.
Billy attended school in McKinleyville and graduating from McKinleyville High School with the class of 1978.
Billy was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn on February 21, 1979 in Oregon, by Brother Richard Hays. Later moving to Oklahoma settling in the Agra and Parkland area where he met the love of this life Lounette James. They were married September 24, 1983. Billy worked at several jobs one being a dairy hand for Brother Alva Herrmann. Later moving to Sacramento, California where he worked for Purple Heart Industries for around ten years. During their time in Sacramento to this union was born one son Delbert and three daughters Stacey, Evelyn and Norma. Norma shared the same birthdate as her dad February 15. When Norma was two years old they returned to Oklahoma again settling in the Agra, Parkland area.
Billy worked doing several jobs in the community for several people cutting trees, cleaning up properties and hauling scrap metal. Most of this was done in his spare time and on Saturdays. Most of the time he had a helper his wife Lounette. The last 18 years Billy worked with his brothers hauling freight and constructing of pools and spas.
Billy is survived by his wife Lounette of the home; children Delbert Rossiter of Kellyville, Stacey and husband Roy Lee Richardson of Cushing, Evelyn and Norma Rossiter of Cushing; brothers, Allen and wife Floye Rossiter of Cushing, Evert and wife Jean Rossiter of Cushing, Glenn and wife Melda Rossiter of Agra; sister-in-law Candace Rossiter of Tryon and sister-in-law Joanna Rossiter of Wichita, Kansas; granddaughter Emma Rossiter of Fort Worth, Texas (Billy and Lounette loved spending time with their only granddaughter Emma; going to watch her show her pigs at the pig shows); Aunt Glenda Taylor and husband Earl of Agra, Aunt Joanna Cramer of Cushing and a host of extended family members and dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his siblings Al Jay Rossiter, Loren Rossiter, John Rossiter and Roy Rossiter; nieces Sherry Gladden and Tonya Rossiter; nephews Gary Rossiter, Brad Rossiter, Thomas Rossiter and Dennis Rossiter; great nephew Derrick Rossiter; great niece Syble Rossiter and great-great nephew Bryce Rossiter.
Funeral services will be Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in Parkland, Oklahoma.
Burial will follow in the Parkland Cemetery.
The family will greet friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. in the Floyd Family Center, East of the Davis Funeral Home.
