Obituary for Shirley Alene Dethloff

Shirley Alene Dethloff, Cushing resident, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2019 in Oklahoma City at the age of 82 years.
The daughter of the late George Washington Percell and Cora Eva Thomas Percell, Shirley was born on January 21, 1937 in Cushing, Oklahoma and was raised and educated here, graduating from Cushing High School with the class of 1955.
She was united in marriage to Wayne Dethloff on July 12, 1956 in Cushing and to this union three children, Sherill, Wayne Jr., and Karen were born. Shirley enjoyed reading, sewing, quilting, and watching Fox News and the Pioneer Woman. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughters.
She is survived by her husband Wayne Dethloff of the home; her children, Sherill Glasoe and her husband Bob of Cushing, Wayne Dethloff, Jr. of Yale and Karen Mattox and her husband Greg of Celebration, FL; 6 grandchildren, Ben Glasoe, Bethany Glasoe, Dakota Dethloff, Jessica Wren, Anna Mattox and Chloe Mattox; 2 great-granddaughters, Violet Wren and Avery Wren; sister-in-law Vicky Percell; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters, Troy Percell, William Percell, Carmen Percell, Norma Evans, Ronnie Percell, Marilyn Hicks and Glenn Percell.
