Obituary for Norma Berger

Norma Lee Berger passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, May 5, 2020 at her home with her family by her. Praise God for the redeemed life of Norma. She was a high school sweetheart and loving wife for 67 years, 9 months and 5 days to Earl Berger.
The daughter of the late Verl Cleveland and Vera Brown Cleveland, Norma was born on December 7, 1932 in Yale, Oklahoma and graduated from Cushing High School.
She was a faithful member of many Baptist Churches over the years, but especially First Baptist Church of Cushing where she served as a bible school teacher and church secretary. She was also a prayer warrior for the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Thank you, Lord, for relieving her pain and gathering her in Your arms to Your presence in her eternal home.
Norma enjoyed collecting antiques; working in the yard; crafts of all kind, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Earl of the home; her children, Tony Berger, Kim Bradley (Terry), Ross Berger (Gina) and Kelly Berger (Maggi); loving grandmother to Brian, Kami, Christy, Courtney, Chris, Michelle, Kyla, Jay, Jeff, Daniel, and Garrett. Blessed with great-grandchildren, Kellen, Kyler, Kortni, Jace, Kyle, Ella, Hailey, Braelyn, Emma, Madison, Austin, Maci, Chance, Isaac, Lillian, Grayson, Hailee, Sophia, Makala, Robinson, Oliver and Sloan; one brother-in-law, Boyd Whipkey; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Gerfen and Shirley Whipkey; in-laws, Art Gerfen, Dorothy and Robert Clarkson and Helen and Gerald Murray.
The viewing for Norma will be held Friday, May 8, 2020 from 4 P.M. until 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until noon. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, visitation will be limited to no more than 10 people at a time.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church of Cushing or to your church of choice.
