Matherly-Davis Funeral Home

Brent Matherly Owner, Funeral-Director, Embalmer brent.matherly@att.net

Brent has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1991.  During his career, he has served as Funeral Director, Vice-President of Operations, and currently serves as President/Owner of the funeral home.  He is married to Carmen (Baker) Matherly, a former Cushing resident who has been a kindergarten teacher since 1992.  Very active in their church, both Brent and Carmen teach Sunday school while Brent plays the drums for services.  They have two grown sons, Tanner Matherly and his wife, Rachel and granddaughter, Blakely Rae; and Cameron Matherly.

Kim Tankersley Co-Owner / Accountant kim.tankersley@att.net

Kim has worked within the business side of the funeral industry since 1999, working corporately as a market and regional administrator.  She is Partner and Co-Owner of Matherly-Davis and takes care of the financial side of the funeral home.  Kim is married to Ray Tankersley who is a teacher and basketball coach at Bristow High School.  They both are very involved in their church, and have two grown sons, Michael and Ryan and his wife Michelle, along with one grandson, Nathaniel Ryan and Skye Elise.

Tanner Matherly Pre-Need Counselor tanner.matherly@att.net

Tanner Matherly finally decided to join the family business in 2020. He had previously worked in the Energy brokerage sector in Texas as he was the former owner of Altruistic Energy Group. He is currently serving as our office manager and Pre-Need advisor here at Matherly-Davis Funeral Home. He has one daughter, Blakley, who is his pride and joy.

Shea Morphew Location Administrator shea.morphew@att.net

Shea Morphew started working for Matherly-Davis Funeral Home in June 2021 as the Location Administrator.  Working behind the scenes preparing for services and taking care of office duties, Shea has worked in different clerical and customer service positions and loves the connection with people and helping them in their time of need.   She is married to Curtis Morphew, a Yale High School graduate and member of the Yale School Board. They have 3 children Emily, Avery and Gracey.  They all go to Yale Schools and are very involved in 4H, FFA and other extra curricular school activities.  The Morphew family has strong roots in and around Yale and she feels blessed to be able to raise her kids there.

Kevin Clouse Funeral Service Assistant

Kevin has been a Funeral Service Assistant for a number of years; serving with Davis Funeral Home and now in the same capacity with Matherly-Davis Funeral Home.  As well, he has served as Pastor at the First Church of God since 1999.  He and his wife, Wendy have three grown children, Amanda, Ashleigh and Zachary.

Pat Matherly Visitation Assistant

Pat is our visitation attendant here at Matherly-Davis Funeral Home.  She has worked in banking and bookkeeping most of her working career.  She is an active member of the Cushing Free Will Baptist Church where she sings on the worship team.  The wife of the late Howard Matherly, together they raised four children, Angie, Brett, Brent, and Patti; serving the Cushing community in many capacities.  Her pride and joy are her children, eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Mandy Floyd-Lemmon Funeral Director/Embalmer mandy.floydlemmon@att.net

Mandy Floyd-Lemmon moved to Cushing as a young child with her family where she was raised. After graduation, Mandy continued her education at Austin College in Sherman, TX. She received her Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. Mandy later attended the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and received her Associates Degree in Applied Science. Mandy was married to Jeremy Lemmon on December 13, 2014. They have seven children: Krager, Riley, Brailee, Dane and wife Morgan, Tennessee and husband Braden, Dutch and wife Lauren and Ryder who passed away in 2020; along with five grandchildren, Asher, Kye, Noah, Nevaeh and Beau.  Their family attends Crossway Church in Cushing.
